Day 13 - Tuesday 11th July
Loch Lomond & Luss
Weather: Cloudy drizzly morning until late afternoon when the sun came out
We started off for the Information Centre at Balloch at the bottom of Loch Lomond at about 10:00 am
While the kids went to the playground Ian and I went to check out what we should make sure we visited on our trip up and around via Crianlarich and Killin. There were the inevitable Crows in the playground -
From there we headed to Luss. It is a picturesque little place full of tourists -
We walked down the Main Street to the jetty by the shores of Loch Lomond :-
Luss had its own beach down by the water -
A little further down a footpath we came to the local church -
... that had the distinction of having a Viking grave or Hogback stone in its graveyard dating back to 1250 -
From there we drove up the shores through Tarbet to ...
