Day 6 - Tuesday 4th July - Independence Day
Nyack Beach & Pizzas
Weather: Cloudy, showers and humid
This morning, Ian went to work and we all went to Nyack Beach on the banks of the Hudson River. We parked the car at the top -
Emi and Kai found the start of the track down to the Beach -
It was like walking in the bush, but with different kinds of trees -
Eventually we got down to the beach on the banks of the Hudson River -
When the kids had had enough down there we climbed back up to the car. Behind the carpark there are these huge cliffs called the Palisades -
For lunch we stopped at Ray's Pizza -
and enjoyed a New York pizza -
