Day 31 - Saturday 29th July
Travel to Edinburgh and the Dakota Hotel
Weather: Cloudy early, but by the time I went for my morning walk the sun came out!
I got all packed up, tidied up, the car loaded and had a chat to Mary-Ann by 10:30 so I put the key in the key box, dropped the rubbish off at the main gateway and drove the car into Selkirk for a coffee at the Three Hills Cafe.
I then went back to the carpark and drove off to Edinburgh. It was a nice sunny day so it was a good drive.
I found my way to Enterprise Cars and dropped the car off. They rang up a taxi for me to get to the Dakota Hotel -
It took a while to get to the Dakota and the driver wanted to chat all the way. I had to pay some real attention to get the hang of what he was saying
I had a shower and then went down stairs to have a whisky before I came up and did my computer jobs like checking in to my flights, which I did except for printing off my boarding passes. I will collect those at the check in kiosk tomorrow morning.
I had a really nice meal later on - Olives with a spicy tomato sauce -
... with a Peroni Beer.
