Day 4 - Monday 2nd July
Broadway - "Wicked"
Weather: Cloudy with the odd shower - warm
This morning Ian and I went into Valley Cottage to buy petrol, served by a guy who managed the two petrol pumps. You drove up and he filled the car up and you gave hime the money
At about 1:00 pm we set off for New York city to got to the Broadway show "Wicked". Ian parked the car in a Parking building. The attendant has to park the cars in the building as they are tightly parked in.
From there we walked to the George Gershwin Theatre where the show was -
Complete with yellow New York taxi -
The queue was huge, but once it started it moved quite quickly. We had to pass through security as well as ticketing
In the foyer was a plaque commemorating George Gershwin
The place was full of people -
We got to our seats and there was the stage -
At the beginning of the show the dragon above the stage came to life as did all the props at the side. It was a great experience!
After the show we went to a Japanese restaurant "Prime Meat Rokko" for dinner. It was very nice -
