Killearn Village
Weather: Cloudy with sunny spells, showers later then fine - warm
This morning I decided to walk up to Killearn Village myself while Ian and the Family went on a hike.
When I got to the top of Drumtian Road -
Looking back to Drumtian Road on the left from Balfron Road -
It had a nice cosy atmosphere -
... and served a nice coffee with an Apple & Cinnamon cake -
From there, after a bit of working out where I was, I walked along Balfron Road and down the Main Street hill to the Co-op to buy some groceries. I then walked back up passed the Monument to George Buchanan on of Killearn's Favourite sons of the 16th Century.
Finally I walked back to Carbeth House. It was a good feeling having worked out the geography of the village.
